Business Ethics

Program in Business Ethics and Client Relations

We offer a session that raises awareness, motivates, and encourages reflection on issues such as loyalty, integrity, and fighting corruption — in both client relationships and B2B interactions.

Topics covered in this program

Corruption

We’ll examine corruption from a logical perspective, exploring why it’s sometimes preferable to go against immediate self-interest.

Whistleblowing

How can you create an environment where your employees feel safe reporting issues? We’ll discuss ways to foster transparency within your organization.

Loyalty

Loyalty isn’t just about hours at the office. We’ll discuss the motivations behind certain inappropriate behaviors and effective responses to fraud.

Risk Management

Prevention is the best defense against undesirable situations. Part of our training is dedicated to assessing risks and defining an acceptable level of risk specific to your context.

Money Laundering

We understand that you likely already have legal guidance in this area. However, we will address the specific risks of money laundering to grasp the true issues and dangers.

Debate: Why be ethical?

To conclude, we’ll open a debate on this fundamental question. Nietzsche, for instance, might argue there’s no benefit to being ethical. But together with your team, we’ll explore the best arguments in favor. This debate invites each participant to reflect on and formulate their own reasons for ethical behavior.

This program is intended for:

This program is also aimed at companies that already have an ethics and compliance system in place, by providing additional training focused on raising awareness and ensuring a thorough understanding of the importance of the existence and respect of these laws (why these laws exist, and what impact this can have on your company’s reputation).

It is also intended for companies facing ethics and compliance issues, especially in their international client relationships, and that do not yet have their own ethics and compliance system. For you, we offer:

• Training and raising team awareness on the importance of mastering best practices across all areas covered by international laws and regulations.

• Support in drafting and implementing an internal ethics and compliance system tailored to your company’s specific needs.

Providing this training to your teams and establishing an ethics and compliance system constitute added value, which you can leverage with your international clients.

Why Do You Need This Training?

1.    It’s a matter of money.

According to Deloitte’s 2021 report:

    •    Trustworthy companies outperform untrustworthy ones by 2.5 times;

    •    88% of customers who trust a company buy from it again;

    •    79% of employees who highly trust their companies feel motivated to work.

2. It’s a matter of effective communication.

Grant Thornton’s 2019 report states: “While 76% of executives believe they frequently communicate their value system, only 31% of employees agree.”

3. It’s a matter of reputation.

As former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart said, “Ethics is knowing the difference between what you have a right to do and what is right to do.” Ethics goes beyond law; it’s a matter of dignity. We can convey this understanding to your teams, thereby strengthening your company’s reputation — or perhaps even preserving it in critical moments.

4.    It’s a matter of shared responsibility.

In today’s environment, companies face increasing external scrutiny and hold a unique responsibility to model exemplary behavior. Our training offers the chance to educate and equip your teams with ethical values and integrity. Let’s set the bar high. Let’s be exemplary.

Jack Welch, former CEO of General Electric:

Type 1: Shares our values and meets goals—the sky’s the limit!

Type 2: Shares our values but misses goals—they usually get one or two more chances.

Type 3: Doesn’t share values and doesn’t meet goals—no hesitation; they’re gone.

Type 4 is the hardest to manage: meets goals but doesn’t share our values.

This type is hardest to let go of, as companies are naturally reluctant to part with people who deliver results. However, we must remove these Type 4s because, by themselves, they can destroy the open, collaborative, and trust-based culture essential for success today and tomorrow.

Meeting

Program Structure:

    •    Duration: 3 hours and 30 minutes

    •    Location: On-site at your company or online, according to your preference

    •    Languages available: French, English

    •    Cost: €2200 (excl. VAT)

Target Audience:

This program is particularly valuable for professionals in the financial sector, industrial enterprises, and service providers seeking sustainable ethical solutions.

The Iceberg of Ignorance:

Frontline employees are aware of 100% of daily problems, while executives typically see only 4%. This program aims to bridge that gap, promoting better communication and increased transparency at all levels. To prevent this “iceberg of ignorance” from growing, we recommend that senior leaders also participate in this training to foster an environment where ethics are shared and upheld without barriers.
